Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Plant Foreman to join our Valued Clients team at a project site in Mont-Laurier, Quebec. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The Plant Foreman will oversee plant operations, supervise production teams, and ensure production targets, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead plant production operations to ensure efficiency and productivity

  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure proper use of fixed plant equipment

  • Ensure product quality meets established standards and customer requirements

  • Manage inventory and oversee production reporting and documentation

  • Supervise, schedule, and support plant personnel, including performance management

  • Develop training plans to enhance team capability and operational versatility

  • Enforce health and safety standards and promote a strong safety culture

  • Collaborate with maintenance and logistics teams to optimize production flow

  • Participate in budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy industry (mining, ore, or metal processing preferred)

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment

  • Strong understanding of plant operations and material processing

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset

  • Experience with similar processing equipment and plant systems

  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards

Work Environment:

  • Industrial plant setting with exposure to heavy equipment and machinery

  • Fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment requiring strong attention to procedures

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including maintenance and logistics
