3D Creative Manager

Position Summary:

The 3D Visualization Department ensures that digital image projects across the Enterprise are executed effectively and efficiently.

Candidates must be self-motivated, a self-starter, highly organized, detail and multi-task oriented. Candidates have experience working in a fast-paced corporate production environment while following corporate style guides and requirements. Candidates thrive in a constantly changing environment and can successfully manage creative teams and multiple deadlines driven projects. The Manager can maintain clear communication and deliver quality work. The right candidate is a creative and critical thinker, capable of offering valuable input and options.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in leading the creative team to create photorealistic 3D images using our branding guidelines for retouching, collaging, compositing, color correction, and image optimization.
• Work in a creative environment that requires consistent creative output.
• Share techniques with peers and communicate effectively.
• Interpret creative direction to create high-quality and photorealistic images of standalone products and environments.
• Oversee the creative/production process through CGI completion and retouching finishing.
• Attend meetings, provide necessary feedback to assist with review sessions, and communicate directions to creative teams.
• Work with the Creative Production Manager and project managers to plan and organize project schedules and resources.
• Evaluate processes and suggest strategies to enhance workflow and quality.

Employment Standards:

• Proficient knowledge of retail, manufacturing, and/or furniture industry preferred.
• Ability to communicate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resources preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and anticipate the needs of a changing landscape.
• Provide clear direction and effective communication.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Fine Arts in 3D Modeling or similar field preferred
• 5+ years of experience with 3D and/or graphic design
• 5+ years 3DS Max experience
• 5+ year VRAY experience
• Corona experience is a plus.

Essential Requirements:

• Advanced skill level using Adobe Photoshop CC or higher
• Ability to achieve photorealism through photo-integration of 2D & 3D.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
• Intermediate skills working with Excel spreadsheets.
• Have a good eye, recognize what makes an image look good in terms of lighting effects, color, composition, and perspective.
• Experience using Digital Asset Management Systems, metadata & spreadsheet imports.
• Experience in documentation of new processes & procedures

• Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities.
