POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) Associate is responsible for assisting with the activities of the overall forecasting and planning of the Company. Will work on budgeting at a property level, corporate level, cash planning, and treasury management.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business-related field preferred
3+ years of Finance experience in real estate field (Manufacture Housing experience a plus!)
Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as experience with accounting software
Experience maintaining, organizing and preparing budgets and/or cash forecasting.
