Objective: The Finance & Order Processing Coordinator position supports daily accounting and administrative processes by entering transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with receivables, payables, and expense review functions. This role focuses on accurate data entry, timely follow-up, and adherence to established procedures to support smooth financial operations.
Essential Responsibilities
Enter and maintain customer orders accurately in the ERP/accounting system
File, scan, and organize vendor and customer invoices
Perform cash collections, including customer follow-ups and payment tracking
Review employee credit card receipts for compliance with company expense policies
Flag non-business or non-compliant expenses and work with finance leadership to resolve issues
Maintain orderly financial records and supporting documentation
Support general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
This is is a full time position that offers benefits: Medical, 401K, PTO
Base pay starting at $24.00 per hour
Requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education
- 10+ year's experience of relevant professional experience in accounting support, order entry, accounts receivable, or administrative finance roles
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of basic accounting processes and internal controls
- Experience handling sensitive financial information with discretion
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
Prior responsibility for cash collections or expense review
Familiarity with ERP or order management systems
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
