About Good Life
Good Life Companies is a fast-growing, independent RIA platform dedicated to empowering financial advisors to achieve true independence and long-term success. We provide ongoing support, education, and tools advisors need to build, manage, and grow thriving independent practices—so they can focus on what matters most: serving clients, growing their business, and living their version of the good life.
Position Summary
We're looking for a versatile, client-facing marketer who thrives on variety and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to help financial advisors build their brands and grow their practices.
In this role, you'll be the marketing partner for our advisors, supporting them through two key phases:
onboarding (launching their independent practice with a strong marketing foundation) and
ongoing marketing support (helping them execute content calendars, social media strategies, and lead generation campaigns).
This is a hands-on role for someone with a well-rounded skillset, including email marketing, social media, graphic design, blogging, website development, SEO/AEO, and collateral creation. You'll work directly with advisors to understand their needs, develop strategies, and execute marketing initiatives that help them succeed.
We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit who's comfortable adapting in a growth environment. This is a new role, and responsibilities will evolve as you grow with the team—starting as a generalist during onboarding and potentially specializing to support our Onboarding or Prime Partners teams down the road.
If you're a strategic thinker who also loves getting into the details, enjoys working with clients, and wants to make a tangible impact on advisor success, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Advisor Onboarding
- Design logos, websites, press releases, and stationery to launch advisors' independent practices with a professional, cohesive brand.
- Build advisor websites with an eye toward best practices, SEO/AEO, and speaking to their unique niches.
- Ensure new advisors have the marketing foundation they need to hit the ground running.
Ongoing Advisor Marketing Support
- Curate, manage, and execute monthly content calendars (blogs, newsletters, social media, email campaigns) aligned with each advisor's marketing strategy and goals.
- Write engaging blogs on financial and lifestyle topics that resonate with clients and prospects.
- Lead monthly or quarterly marketing strategy discussions with advisors to align efforts with business goals.
- Develop lead generation campaigns to help advisors build and nurture prospect lists.
- Create brochures, checklists, whitepapers, and other collateral to support advisor needs.
- Maintain and update advisor websites to keep content fresh and SEO-optimized.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with advisors and their teams to identify marketing needs, develop strategy, and execute.
- Support corporate marketing and sales enablement initiatives as needed, including corporate social media, collateral development, and social media ads.
- Establish and measure KPIs to evaluate the success of marketing programs.
What Success Looks Like (6-12 Months)
- Successfully learn and be able to execute complete onboarding efforts for new Good Life financial advisors (logo, website, press release, social media setup).
- Gain proficiency in managing ongoing marketing execution, including monthly content calendars, blog writing, and social media management for multiple financial advisors.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with advisors, becoming their trusted marketing partner.
- Develop efficient workflows to balance onboarding, ongoing support, and further enhance department workflows.
- Demonstrate measurable results through KPIs (website traffic, social engagement, email open rates, lead generation).
- Become a valued, collaborative member of the marketing team.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years of marketing experience in a professional environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling campaigns and manage client relationships.
- Ability to develop marketing strategies and execute across channels (social media, email, website, print).
- Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms (WordPress, Squarespace, etc.).
- Proficiency with Canva, Social Media (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of Google Analytics and SEO/AEO principles.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills - Skilled at managing multiple clients and completing deadlines with reliability and precision.
- A growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. You're comfortable with ambiguity, willing to learn, and excited to build something.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- LinkedIn Ads experience (a major PLUS)
- Financial services experience (but not required, we'll teach you what you need to know).
- Proficiency with social media ad platforms (LinkedIn Ads is a differentiator).
- Video editing experience.
Who You Are
You're a marketing generalist who enjoys variety and doesn't mind switching between writing a blog, designing a logo, and strategizing a social media campaign - all in the same day.
You're client-focused and collaborative. You genuinely enjoy working with people, understanding their needs, and helping them succeed.
You're detail-oriented but strategic. You can zoom out to develop a plan and zoom in to execute it flawlessly.
You're adaptable and entrepreneurial. You don't need a rigid playbook. Proactive problem-solver who learns quickly, adapts easily, and enhances work through ongoing iteration.
You're proactive and self-directed. You don't wait for instructions; you see what needs to be done and do it.
Why You'll Love This Role
- Variety: No two days are the same. You'll work across multiple advisors, industries, and marketing channels.
- Impact: You'll see the direct results of your work—advisors launching successful practices, growing their client base, and achieving their goals.
- Growth: This is a new role in a growing company. As we expand, so will your opportunities.
- Collaboration: You'll work closely with advisors, the marketing team, and leadership—never in a silo.
- Autonomy: You'll have the freedom to develop strategies, make decisions, and own your work.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel (up to 10%).
- Requires typical physical demands of an office environment.
