About This Position
Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Director of Human Resources to be the face of the people in Bolivar, MO! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Human Resources provides customer services to new applicants, current employees and fellow coworkers. We are the hub of information for our people: a resource, an advocate and a helpful hand.
A typical day includes: Facilitating all employee relations from recruiting, benefits, disciplinary action and terminations.
- Participates in planning organizational strategy and human resources development.
- Interprets policies and procedures to employees and supervisors.
- Monitors periodic performance evaluations for all employees.
- Prepares and assures compliance for Joint Commission, State Surveys, Division of Aging, Affirmative Action plan and other regulatory agencies.
- Participates in the management development process.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Hospital or Business Administration
- Experience: Two years of experience in hospital management or a related field
- Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking, employee relations, policy interpretation
- Licensure/Certification: PHR or SHRM preferred
- Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
