Industrial Electrician

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for keeping Nexkemia’s electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation equipment in good working condition and repairing it as needed. They must collaborate with other departments according to production needs and ensure the proper functioning and efficiency of Nexkemia’s equipment.

• Install and maintain all electrical equipment on site.
• Calibrate and maintain all instruments according to specifications.
• Provide professional expertise for all new projects related to electronics and tools.
• Implement and maintain the preventive maintenance program for electrical equipment and instrumentation.
• Purchase the electrical equipment and instrumentation required for projects and maintenance.
• Keep records and electrical/instrumentation equipment drawings up to date.
• Inspect the work of contract employees and ensure that subcontractors follow safety practices.

• D.E.C in Electrotechnics, DEC in Electronics or Electrodynamics, or equivalent.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience.
• Class C license.
• Bilingual, an asset. English proficiency is required as 25% of the workday involves interactions and participating in meetings with peers in English.
