#1677 | Degreaser 1 - 1st Shift at EMBEE PROCESSING – Santa Ana, California

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Degreaser will operate and tend equipment that cleans grease, scales dirt and other foreign object debris (FOB) from customer supplied product, inspects parts for conformance to prepare for additional processes or shipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and tend equipment that cleanse grease, scales dirt and other foreign object damage (FOD) from customer supplied product.

• Inspect parts for conformance to prepare for additional process or shipment.

• Rack parts utilizing various techniques to be degreased.

• Place parts in degreasing tanks per procedures to ensure they are cleaned completely before processing.

• Upon completion of degreasing cycle, rinse parts thoroughly and begin the drying process.

• Ensure that parts are cleaned to stand before continuing to next required steps.

• Adheres to safety regulations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to communicate, read and understand English.

• Ability to follow and retain instructions.

• Possess good attention to detail to ensure parts are clean.

• Ability to work around chemicals.

• Ability to wear a mask for prolonged periods of time.

ITAR REQUIREMENT:

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.

• Ability to left up to 50lbs.

• Exposed to heat, noise, and chemical fumes while in production areas.

• Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
