At Home Helpers Home Care of Dallas provides compassionate, dependable in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance. We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced caregiver to support a client with personal care, mobility assistance, and daily living activities in a private home setting.

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and incontinence care

• Assist with transfers and mobility support (walker, wheelchair, bed, chair)

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Prepare basic meals

• Assist with light housekeeping

• Provide medication reminders as outlined in the care plan

• Transport client as needed using caregiver’s vehicle

• Follow each client’s individualized care plan

• Communicate professionally and effectively with family members and care team

• Accurately document daily activities and observations

• Perform additional caregiving duties as assigned

• Experience required with clients diagnosed with dementia and Parkinson’s disease

• Strong awareness of fall prevention and safety protocols

• Client has a G-tube (caregiver does not manage feedings or administer medications via the tube)

• Client’s spouse manages all G-tube medications

• Caregiver provides medication reminders for eye drops and oral medications

• Client can bear some weight

• Walker to chair

• Chair to wheelchair

• Wheelchair to bed

• Private home setting

• Must be comfortable working in a home with a small dog

• Position requires standing, walking, lifting, and physical assistance

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience

• Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory care needs

• Comfortable performing hands-on personal care and transfers

• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Ability to pass a 50-state background check and drug screening
