About This Position
Description:
The Human Resources Specialist supports the management of our global contractor workforce, serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external vendors. This role ensures smooth onboarding, accurate data management, and timely processing of contractor-related activities. In addition, the HR Specialist supports the broader HR team with data entry, reporting, and special projects. This position reports to the SVP of HR and Organizational Development. Ideal schedule will consist of 3 days in our Addison, TX office, 2 days work from home. Candidates with a background in staffing preferred.
- Partner with external vendors to support global contractor hiring, onboarding, and contract administration
- Coordinate and review contractor terms, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance requirements
- Manage and approve contractor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Maintain accurate contractor records and perform data entry in Paylocity
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contractor status, questions, and updates
- Develop presentations and reporting materials for leadership
- Support HR and cross-functional special projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
- Function effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1+ years of relevant HR experience, contractor management, or vendor coordination experience
- Experience working with HRIS systems (Paylocity strongly preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with the aptitude to learn new programs
- Independent and self-motivated
- Innovative and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong proactive communication, both written and verbal communication
- Excellent collaborative skills with team and clients with the ability to work remotely and autonomously
- Superior time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
- Demonstrate discretion, sensitivity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships and build a strong culture
