Senior Payroll Analyst at 123Dentist – Burnaby, British Columbia

🔹 Lead & Support the Payroll Team

• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and technical support
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple entities

🔹 Payroll Operations & Compliance

• Review and validate bi-weekly payrolls
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation across provinces
• Act as the escalation point for complex payroll inquiries

🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with HR, Finance, and clinic leadership
• Ensure employee changes (hires, terminations, compensation updates) are accurately reflected

🔹 Reporting & Year-End (YE)

• Support audits and maintain accurate payroll documentation
• Assist with T4/RL1 reporting and reconciliations

🔹 Continuous Improvement 🚀

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Support onboarding and training of new payroll team members

✔️ 5+ years of payroll experience (with 2+ years in a lead capacity)
✔️ PCP Certification (CPM is a plus)
✔️ Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation
✔️ Experience with systems like ADP Workforce Now/Workday (or similar)
✔️ Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
✔️ Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
