Stephenson Dirt Contracting LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Construction Estimator / Project Manager to lead the financial planning and execution of civil construction projects. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, coordinating bidding processes, and managing project execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a background in civil construction, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams. This is a key opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of complex projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and schedules for civil construction projects.

• Lead bidding processes, including subcontractor negotiations and vendor pricing.

• Oversee project execution to ensure alignment with budget, schedule, and scope.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify conformance with estimates.

• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and stakeholders.

• Track financial performance and report on budget variances and cost-saving opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in civil estimating and project management.

• Proficient in construction estimating and project management software.

• Strong analytical and cost forecasting skills.

• Proven ability to negotiate and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
