About the role
The Director, Business Intelligence sets the strategic vision for the organizations data and analytics capabilities. This role leads cross-functional data initiatives, oversees BI governance and infrastructure, and partners with executive leadership to drive enterprise-level, data-driven decision-making.
What you'll do
- Define and execute the enterprise BI and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology leadership to align BI initiatives with business priorities
- Champion a data-driven culture across executive and operational teams
- Oversee data governance, data quality frameworks, and enterprise data standards
- Evaluate and implement advanced analytics capabilities
- Build and execute the BI technology roadmap for the organization
- Provide high-level insights and recommendations to the executive team based on enterprise KPIs and trends
- Capable of performing hands-on analysis while accountable for strategic and structural leadership
- Lead and develop technical staff
The skills you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field
- Previous experience working in a technology leadership role
- 7+ years of experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with CRM technologies (Zoho Analytics, Salesforce, etc.) is strongly preferred
- Experience evaluating AI/ML analytics opportunities
- Experience implementing self-service analytics frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment
- Previous experience leading a team in a supervisory role is strongly preferred
