IT Manager:
The IT Manager is responsible for supporting Data Center Facility Operations team in end-user computers, BMS (Building Management System) support, managing local helpdesk requests, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing preventative maintenance. Additional responsibilities include administering, maintaining, and supporting the local network infrastructure and server systems to include security related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and support all facility desktops/laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other infrastructure to include security related systems.
- Build and support local network, wireless & VoIP infrastructure, and ability to perform cross connects.
- Contribute as a key member to network/computer systems/software upgrade and deployment projects.
- Provide technical support for local onsite employees.
- Provision, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 accounts and entitlements.
- Provision, maintain, and support security systems such as card access, camera, and alarms.
- Install and maintain copper & fiber facilities.
- Working with and directing 3rd party technical support vendors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including network, Server OS, and application issues.
- Provide off-hours support as required.
- Telco cross-connects from MPOE to designated DMARC.
- Perform physical installations including rack & stack, cabling, and cable management.
- Assist with other duties assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Systems or related field.
- Excellent internal/external Customer service skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment but comfortable working alone with little direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, time management, and planning ahead.
- Demonstrated agility to pivot between competing priorities and situations.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network troubleshooting skills.
- Network Administration and understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, VoIP, and network security.
- Experience in telco cross-connect connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to rapidly identify and resolve issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with the ITIL support model and understanding of Incident Management, Service Requests, and Change Management.
- Can handle multiple tasks with a clear sense of ownership and priority.
- Experience supporting a LAN environment, e.g. firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, and switches.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 40lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and multiple flights of stairs to access elevated equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in various work environments
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach for equipment related tasks
- Basic physical fitness to respond quickly to emergency situations and navigate areas quickly
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently withing various work environments to troubleshoot issues or respond to emergencies.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small components and connectors
- Clear vision, with or without correction, to perform tasks requiring attention to detail and precision while wearing safety glasses
- Ability to differentiate between color-coded warning signs, labels, and cables
- Ability to work in environments with a wide variety temperature inside a facility
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, or snow
- Capability to work in environments with elevated noise levels while wearing hearing protection
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for work-related travel, as required
Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The rate for this role is from $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted yearly rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
