We are currently seeking an experienced:

BUSINESS OFFICE ASSISTANT

Job Description:

• Maintains general petty cash and patient funds according to procedures.
• Maintains all patients files in accurate, easily retrievable manner.
• Vouches all invoices, per established procedure, and sends to Central Accounts Payable office for processing.
• Takes patient payments and receipts money/makes deposits when necessary.
• Makes family members and residents feel comfortable when discussing financial affairs.
• Prepares necessary forms and materials in accordance with established procedures for admissions, discharges, changes in status and reviews.
• Prepares outgoing mail and sorts all incoming mail and forwards mail to family members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School graduate.
• Computer Knowledge and experience.
• Medicare and Medicaid billing knowledge helpful.
• Ability to work well under pressure and cooperate well with others.
• Willingness to take orders and problem solve.
• Must read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies.
• Valid N.C. Driver’s license.
