This role leads the strategy and execution of fraud prevention, identity verification, and order dispute resolution across a complex marketplace platform. You will own the end-to-end product vision, balancing risk mitigation with a fast, fair, and seamless customer experience. This position combines technical leadership with cross-functional collaboration, shaping AI-driven fraud defenses and policy frameworks that protect business operations while enabling growth. You will drive measurable impact on fraud losses, cost per order, and customer satisfaction, working closely with data science, engineering, and operational teams. - Define and execute the fraud, identity, and appeasements product strategy and roadmap, setting clear objectives for fraud loss reduction, cost per order, false positive rates, and customer experience
- Evolve the real-time fraud detection and identity verification platform, including ML models, account integrity systems, and automated decisioning
- Drive AI-first innovations across fraud detection and trust systems, moving beyond rules-based approaches
- Lead the design and execution of order appeasement policies and systems, balancing fair customer treatment with abuse prevention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, ML Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Customer Experience to embed trust capabilities across the platform
- Monitor emerging fraud trends, attack vectors, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt product and policy strategy
Requirements:
- 6+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years focused on fraud, trust & safety, risk, identity, or high-stakes platform domains
- Proven ability to define product vision and multi-year strategy independently, driving measurable business outcomes
- Experience with ML/data science-driven fraud detection models, risk scoring, and decisioning platforms
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with SQL, experimentation, and data-driven decision making
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Preferred: experience applying AI/ML to fraud/trust, multi-sided marketplaces, and enterprise platforms; experience shipping AI-native products and leveraging advanced analytics techniques
