As our Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property including compliance, operations, customer service and financial performance, while assisting in the management in all facets of assigned apartment communities.
Summary of responsibilities:
- Hire, onboard, train and develop staff of property managers (typical portfolio staff is 5-8 direct reports)
- Advanced level of customer service with residents, associates, and vendors
- Create annual budgets, monitor monthly financials, and develop strategies for optimal financial performance and cost containment at each community
- Accomplish financial objectives by maximizing revenue, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances
- Ensure strict program compliance is adhered to and files are in order, basic understanding of LIHTC, HOME, RD, and HUD programs
- Perform site visits to the communities within the portfolio, physically walking and inspecting the condition of the property, halls, common area, apartments, and business offices
- Ensure all quarterly and annual inspections are completed and documented with an action plan for resolving deficiencies
- Work closely with the development, construction, asset management, and compliance teams during Lease Ups and participate in key details of the process including advertising/marketing
- Lease-up campaign on new communities, create staffing plan, achieve stabilization, and meet DCR requirements- reports to SVP, of Operations and based from home office
Successful candidates will have:
- 5+ years of multi-site management experience, Tax Credit required
- HS diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Some working hours may be accomplished outside the office and/or regular business hours; travel required
- Prior experience with YARDI preferred
- Ability to conduct business in accordance with company policies, state, and federal laws
