The Floor Assistant supports front-of-house operations by ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attentive service, efficient table maintenance, and a clean, welcoming environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining service flow and supporting the team during peak operations.

• Clear and reset tables promptly between guests and courses
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, booths, and surrounding floor areas
• Assist with timely food delivery and table support
• Provide water, refills, and respond to guest requests in a professional manner
• Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of service stations
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
• Assist with light food preparation when necessary

• 6 months to 1 year of restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (if applicable)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Comfortable handling hot dishes and working in a fast-paced environment
