About This Position
The District Lead is a field leadership role responsible for implementing and managing Battleground Alliance's field program within a priority congressional district. Reporting to a Regional District Desk, District Leads serve as BA's primary point of contact on the ground — driving local strategy, coalition coordination, and day-to-day field execution to ensure national program goals are translated into effective, locally grounded campaigns.
District Leads operate across more than 38 competitive congressional districts nationwide and are expected to be deeply embedded in their assigned district. Depending on local conditions, this role may function within a partner led, hybrid, or direct model — and in all cases serves as the key driver ensuring the plan gets executed. In states with large coordinating infrastructure (e.g. America Votes), this role may be embedded within a host organization while reporting directly to BA.
