Position Summary: The Registered Dietitian ensures the districts Child Nutrition Servicesprogram complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing schoolnutrition programs. This position provides professional dietetics expertise to support compliantmenu development, medically required dietary accommodations, nutrition education initiatives,and operational consistency across school sites.The role partners with Child Nutrition Services leadership to maintain safe, accurate, andstudent-centered meal services while supporting regulatory compliance and program
effectiveness across the district.

Menu and Nutrition Analysis
Dietary Accommodations and Food Safety
Training and Nutrition Education
Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field
Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential through the Commission on DieteticRegistration, including completion of an ACEND-accredited internship and requiredcontinuing education
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in K12, institutional, or large-scale food service
Experience with automated food production systems and nutrition analysis softwarepreferred
Licenses and Certifications
ServSafe certification and AllerTrain certification required within six (6) weeks of hire
Ability to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Food Handlers permit
Valid drivers license required
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of federal and state child nutrition program regulations
Analytical and sound decision-making skills
Ability to interpret and apply changing federal and state regulations
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
