Job description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Cook to join our Assisted Living team. This role plays an important part in providing nutritious, well-balanced meals that support the health and happiness of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to posted menus and dietary guidelines
• Follow special diets and texture modifications as ordered (low sodium, diabetic, mechanical soft, etc.)
• Ensure all meals are prepared and served on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
• Assist with inventory, food rotation, and kitchen organization
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, caregivers, and leadership
• Treat residents with respect, patience, and kindness at all times
