About This Position
Job Summary:
The Wholesale Showroom Assistant is a crucial, high-support role within the Sales and Showroom teams. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of all showroom and sales-related administrative tasks, market preparation, and inter-departmental communication.
Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist with account executive responsibilities, including setting up appointments and following up on product orders and reorders.
- Use JOOR software to submit orders to Customer Service for accounts, gifting, and other needs.
- Check order system for errors and confirm orders have been shipped.
- Provide accounts with visuals of current orders and create product knowledge visuals for stores (Photoshop or canva skills preferred).
Market Preparation:
- Prepare for market by pulling and updating orders using Full Circle (booking reports) and JOOR (visuals).
- Monitor and manage samples for the showroom (accepting, checking in, steaming, and hanging new season’s line).
- Assist with sample management for new season
- Book models for appointments
Administrative Support:
- Maintain showroom supply levels for daily and market needs and replenish as needed
- Printing linesheets CADS and market materials
- Managing fashion GPS for sample coordination and ticket printing
- Schedule photoshoot dates, prepare and send samples for photoshoots
- Create copy sheets for photoshoots
Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with multiple showroom locations (e.g., LA, Canada, Corporate Showroom) and product development on sample and swatch coordination
- Assist with virtual Zoom and showroom appointments.
- Dress models and manage showroom appearance.
- Coordinate RA requests and manage damages as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables), Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Photoshop.
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires frequent use of a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
