Responsibilities

    Build a new SUE team in SAM's Houston areaResponsible for management of SUE projects and project team (staff of 6+)Manage project performance, to include, schedule, budget and quality of the workProvide project management services including conducting project internal and client meetingsPrepare SUE plans; manage project team including delegating tasks and ensuring compliance with project scope and scheduleProvide utility coordination services including conducting meetings, preparing agreements and cost estimates, approving design plans, specifications and other submittalsAssist marketing staff with marketing packages, proposal preparation, proposal review and presentationsIdentify and solicit project opportunities with current and new clients and attend marketing meetings as neededAssist in developing procedures, standards, methods and systems to improve project delivery


Qualifications
    Minimum of 10 years of experience in SUE, Utility Design or CoordinationAbility to bring established book of work and client relationshipsBusiness development skills and experience is a mustAbility to manage personnel is a mustExperience in construction engineering and inspection a plusStrong written and verbal communication experienceMust be a licensed P.E. in state of Texas, or have the ability to achieve licensure in Texas
