Position Purpose:Clinical
- Provide gastroenterology services to patients of the practice on both an out-and in-patient basis.
- Comply with all local, state and federal regulations regarding documentation and coding, billing and collections, referrals and other clinical practice regulations.
- Supervise non-physician providers as requested.
- Prepare patient records, charts and reports as appropriate.
- Needs to meet quality, safety and service standards of Saint Anthony Hospital.
- Assume responsibility of patients at Saint Anthony Hospital facilities where medical staff membership and clinical privileges are held when requested by Emergency Department.
- Participates in call coverage.
- Participates in practice’s clinical management system and processes.
- Required to utilize EMR for all clinical documentation
Organizational Requirements
- Responsible to Clinical Department Chairman of Internal Medicine or his/her designee for practice and clinical performance.
- Responsible to Clinical Department Chairman of Internal Medicine, or his designee for non-clinical behavior.
- Provides input to the Practice Manager, as appropriate, in the performance review process of practice's non-medical staff.
- Attends staff meetings and department meetings at the Saint Anthony Hospitals Facilities where active membership is held, including practice site and medical staff meetings.
Position Requirements:
Doctoral Degree
1-3 years of experience
Licensed Physician in the state of IL

Annual Salary: $353,233 - $497,151
