Associate Clinical Therapist (AMFT or APCC) at Gamino Family Therapy Group Inc – Fresno, California

Please note we cannot hire ASW's as we are unable to provide supervision for ASW's.

Job Type: Full Time, 25-30 billable hours/week is $34 a hour. Progress notes, supervision etc is considered non billable time at $16.50 an hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide competent counseling services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to live situations or mental health concerns
• Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as family, individual, couples and crisis interventions to assigned clients
• Develop treatment plans, monitor treatment progress, and follow-up when appropriate
• Maintain required billable hours
• Work hours must be maintained in a way that is responsive to client needs
• Maintain good standing with the appropriate board and insurance entities
• Complete all recommended continuing education requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners in support of the patients growth and development
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with agency standards
• Participate in team meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required
• Perform other duties as assigned (including but not limited to completion of Social Security/Disability forms, authorization and billing forms, phone calls, and participating in case consultation meetings)

Qualifications:

• A masters degree in mental health-related field
• Must be a registered either as a Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California or a APCC
• Experience working with Children and Families
• Bilingual preferred but not required

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and overall computer skills
• Ability to learn software associated with the practice
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to work in a changing environment
