Paraplanner at Midwest Financial Planning Group – Findlay, Ohio

At Midwest Financial Planning Group, our success is built on our unique expertise in financial management, comprehensive planning, and outstanding client service. We are seeking a Paraplanner to handle a wide range of tasks related to financial planning and client case preparation. Working closely with our Private Wealth Advisors, Service Advisors, and other team members, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the client experience. Your focus will include, but is not limited to, entering client data into financial planning software, generating reports, conducting financial analysis, and developing presentations. You will report to the Director of Client Service.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Input initial client information into PX and other financial planning systems for reporting.
• Generate supporting reports for client planning, such as CCV, NMCIR, Advisor Reports, and IFLs.
• Research financial planning topics to assist the Advisor team with client strategies.
• Collaborate with Advisors to develop planning strategies and recommendations for clients.
• Create financial plans and assist Advisors in preparation and presentation.
• Prepare necessary paperwork and documentation for client meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and analyze financial plans, agendas, and illustrations for client meetings.
• Maintain organized records of client information and planning documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

TEAM DUTIES

• Ensure compliance in all actions within your role.
• Actively participate in team meetings to enhance the team culture, productivity, and expertise.
• Maintain continuing education (CE) for all active licenses and designations.
• Provide backup support for insurance service, new business, and financial planning as needed.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Basic knowledge of financial services with the ability to expand your expertise.
• Clear communication skills, especially in explaining financial principles and concepts face-to-face, over the phone, or via email.
