Job Summary
The Haven at Fayetteville Assisted Living Facility is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support our dietary team in our assisted living community. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment to ensure the health and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish room and kitchen areas
• Sweep, mop, and assist with general kitchen sanitation
• Properly dispose of trash and recyclables
• Assist with stocking and organizing supplies
• Follow all health department, food safety, and facility sanitation guidelines
• Support dietary staff during meal service as needed
Qualifications
• No prior experience required (experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must pass background check (per state regulations)
