Position Overview:

The Processing Operations Director serves as the senior on-site leader responsible for the overall management and delivery of Anovaeon’s case processing operations within an ICE processing facility. This role oversees the daily execution of administrative immigration processing activities and ensures that case processing operations are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with government expectations.

The Processing Operations Director acts as the primary liaison between Anovaeon leadership, facility leadership, and ICE personnel. This position coordinates closely with the Facility Director, Facility Deputy Director, and other operational partners to ensure that detainee processing activities support the government’s operational objectives.

As the senior on-site representative for Anovaeon, the Processing Operations Director provides leadership, oversight, and strategic coordination across all case processing activities and personnel.

Essential Functions:

Program Leadership & Operational Oversight

Lead and oversee all case processing operations conducted by Anovaeon personnel at the facilityEnsure that administrative processing activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with government requirementsMonitor overall program performance and ensure operational objectives are metProvide strategic leadership and direction to supervisory and processing staffIdentify operational challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow and efficiency

Government & Facility Coordination

Serve as the primary on-site liaison between Anovaeon and Prime contractor and government personnelCoordinate regularly with ICE staff regarding operational priorities, detainee processing expectations, and documentation requirementsMaintain close coordination with the Facility Director and Facility Deputy Director to ensure alignment across facility operationsCollaborate with third-party operational teams including corrections personnel, medical staff, IT support teams, and other contractors operating within the facilityEnsure case processing operations integrate smoothly with broader facility workflows

Detainee Processing Operations Management

Oversee the overall delivery of administrative case processing services supporting immigration proceedings and removal operationsEnsure accurate and timely processing of detainee case documentation and administrative recordsMonitor case processing pipelines and detainee docket flow to ensure efficient processing timelinesEnsure case processing operations support ICE enforcement and administrative objectives

Personnel Leadership & Workforce Management

Supervise Processing Site Supervisors and provide leadership to the entire case processing workforceEnsure proper staffing levels and workforce coverage across operational shiftsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and development of case processing personnelCoordinate with HR and training staff to ensure personnel are properly trained and qualifiedProvide coaching, mentorship, and performance management for supervisory staff

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Establish and oversee quality assurance processes for case processing operationsEnsure compliance with all applicable government policies, operational procedures, and contractual requirementsConduct operational reviews to ensure documentation accuracy and process integrityIdentify risks or compliance concerns and implement corrective actionsReport significant operational issues or compliance concerns to senior leadership

Communication & Reporting

Provide regular operational updates to Anovaeon leadership regarding program performanceMaintain open communication with facility leadership and ICE representativesPrepare operational reports, performance summaries, and status updates as requiredEnsure accurate documentation of operational activities and key events

Knowledge and Skills

Strong leadership and operational management capabilitiesAbility to coordinate complex multi-team operations within secure environmentsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build effective working relationships with government personnel and operational partnersStrong organizational and program management skillsAbility to manage high-tempo operational environments and competing priorities

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferredMinimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in program management, government operations, or administrative leadershipMinimum 3–5 years of supervisory or operational leadership experienceExperience supporting federal government programs strongly preferredExperience working with immigration operations, detention environments, or law enforcement support programs preferredExperience coordinating multi-agency or multi-contractor operations preferred

Requirements of Employment

Work Environment

Fully onsite position within an ICE processing facility in MarylandWork schedules include 24/7 coverage, and may include shifts on overnights, evenings, weekends and holidays.Standard administrative office and processing facility environmentMay involve extended periods of computer work and documentation processingFast-paced operational environment requiring attention to detail and professionalism

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods while conducting data entry and interviewsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods during facility operations (up to 8-12 hours per shift)Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies and equipment up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motionsCapability to work in varied environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, temperature variations)Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations throughout the facilityVisual acuity for detailed computer work and document reviewAuditory ability to conduct interviews and monitor facility for safety concerns

The pay range for this role is:108,000 - 120,000 USD per year(Hagerstown Processing)
