Teen Program Leader
The candidates must have a flexible schedule. Some days they will work in the mornings, some afternoons, and some weekends. Shift will be provided.
Required skills: very sociable, comfortable with presentations, great customer service skills, attentive to detail, organized, creative, proactive, punctual, comfortable following instructions.
Responsibilities and duties:
Organizing and running students Orientations & walking tours
Organizing and providing souvenirs and material to students.
Providing support to students at school (student portal, class schedule, books, TCC/Compass card, phone line, banking information, gym registration, etc.)
Attending to some activities and making sure they run smoothly, and students have ILAC support.
Requesting and organizing students’ documentation to join activities, such as waivers, consent forms, etc.
Keeping up to date students’ attendance report.
Reporting any issue to Teens Manager.
Among other tasks.
- Experience:
- Previous experience working with youth in educational, recreational, or camp settings is highly desirable.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and engage with large groups of students from diverse backgrounds.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
- Fluency in English.
- Additional languages are a strong asset.
- Personal Qualities:
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and approachable demeanor.
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
- Proactive!
- Culturally sensitive and open-minded, with a passion for working in a multicultural environment.
- Certifications:
- Background check and clearance to work with minors.
- Availability:
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for the duration of the summer program.
