Environmental Service Technician I (Housekeeping) - Evenings at Cheshire Medical Center – Keene, New Hampshire

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As an EVS Tech 1, you would perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Interact with patients and visitors
• Clean occupied patient rooms
• Prepare discharged patient rooms for the next patient
• Clean operating rooms
• Operate floor cleaning equipment
• Spill response
• Transport waste

Pay Details

• Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour
• + $2.00 Weekend shift differential
• + $1.60 2nd shift differential
• + $5.50 3rd shift differential
• Holiday Pay Time and a Half

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Flexible per diem shifts are also available

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.
• Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.
