Winter Growth, a local non-profit, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. This full-time position is on Monday through Friday, with 10 paid holidays. Winter Growth’s mission is to foster community by empowering seniors to live their best lives. We do this by listening and creating an environment for connections.
We are looking for a nurse who enjoys working with a team of dedicated individuals to ensure clients' health needs are met. This position manages and supports a 31-bed assisted living program as needed. The ideal candidate has strong computer skills. An assisted living delegating nurse certificate must be obtained during the first three months.
Responsibilities:
1) Act as liaison between families, physicians, and other health care professionals to assure optimum care for clients.
2) Supervise and support certified nursing assistants and medication technician(s).
3) Participate in the maintenance of required medical documentation per State guidelines.
4) Monitor clients for insidious and/or obvious health issues. Notify physicians and families as appropriate.
5) Provide for the isolation of clients or staff who present with suspected contagious diseases.
6) Take charge in the event of a medical emergency.
7) Provide CPR and/or first aid for clients and staff on site if needed.
8) Participate in health teaching for clients and staff as requested.
9) Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
Job Requirements:
Current Maryland RN license
Possess strong computer skills
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledgeable on general nursing principles

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
