About This Position

Overview

The Area Director of Food and Beverage Operations is an opportunity for an experienced multi-unit restaurant leader to oversee the full-service restaurants, bars and entertainment venues within the Entertainment District located at The Okana resort. This individual will be the Senior Food and Beverage Leader leading three uniquely themed, full-service restaurants that include entertainment in addition to events and pop-up activations. This role is the leaders of multiple stand-alone units and leads the overall strategy, execution, and performance for the venues. Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of experience as the leader of multi-unit venues, including upscale independent restaurants and bars; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data and prepare an effective business plan.
  • Strong cost control background to effectively manage the financial performance of each outlet.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to consistently evaluate menus and develop strategies aimed at increasing revenues.
  • Sound time management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
  • A passion for customer service that filters down to all levels of the team.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently; Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Have or will complete all relevant Food & Beverage certifications.
  • A proven track record of developing ongoing training programs that support the service standards and regulatory requirements of the resort.
  • Has demonstrated the entrepreneurial skill set to lead the marketing and promotional efforts.
  • Has experience working with independent marketing organizations and the on-property marketing team.
