Our location in Le Center, Mn has an opening for a Production Scaler
The position is responsible for ensuring the proper weight of products at different stages of the production process. Specific essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Bakery:
- Operating scaling/preparation of scaling equipment
- Must be able to complete daily production reports and corresponding paperwork
- Ensuring accurate weights are deposited
- Working on the depositing line as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe and sanitary work area
- Performs other duties as assigned Finishing:
- Weighing ingredients according to formulas and the work list
- Operating scaling/preparation of scaling equipment
- Adjustment of depositors
- Must be able to complete paperwork (i.e. Weight Sheet and Excessive Waste Form)
- Ensuring accurate weights are deposited
- Working on the depositing line as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Packaging:
- Ensure metal detection equipment is operating properly before and during a production run.
- Perform metal checks every 15 minutes
- Operating scale/preparation of scaling equipment.
- Weighing ingredients and finished products according to formulas and weight sheets.
- Must be able to accurately complete daily production reports and corresponding paperwork
- (i.e. Metal Detection Monitor, Weight Sheets, H.O.T.S. Sheet) Ensure accurate weights are obtained at various stages.
- Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Education requirement: High School Degree (GED) or equivalent experience
- Years of related working experience: 6 months to 1 year related experience
- Excellent Math Skills
- Ability to learn company methods and standards and apply that knowledge to daily duties.
