Production Planner at Pepsi MidAmerica – Marion, Illinois

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyze sales history and evaluate trend forecasts to determine sales, production, and materials requirements.
2. Plan product needs and schedule production runs to meet needs.
3. Record materials used and goods produced.
4. Update various tracking spreadsheets.
5. Track materials and product inventories
6. Monitor daily sales and inventory movements.
7. Attend daily production / inventory meetings
8. Coordinate with Marketing on new and promotional items.
9. Record materials used and finished syrups produced - Syrup Loss Log RPT.
10. Prepare reports for analysis of production line efficiencies syrup yields.
11. Other duties as assigned.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

1. Daily contact with VP of Operations, Operations Office Manager, Production Manager, QC Manager, and Shipping Clerk.
2. Regular contact with all levels of personnel in each department outside of production.
3. Daily contact with Line Foremen and other line workers.
