Position Overview: Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted “Best Urgent Care” eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for our newest location in Los Angeles, CA (Century City).

Key Responsibilities:

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Full-time will be a minimum of 12 clinical shifts per month and two on-call shifts per month (8 am to 9 pm).
• Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG.
• All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

We have expanded our brand and services throughout Bakersfield, Fresno, Clovis, Chino, Lake Elsinore, San Bernardino, Wildomar, Murrieta, Temecula, and Los Angeles. We plan to open about 5 more clinics in the next 2 years. We currently have 17 locations throughout Central and Southern California to serve your urgent care needs. Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing
• CA DEA Certificate
• One + year or more of relevant urgent care experience
