About the Role

We seek a highly experienced and motivated General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our appliance delivery and installation services. This role is responsible for successfully executing last-mile delivery, managing carrier teams, and ensuring that appliances are installed safely, professionally, and on time in customers’ homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL, white glove service, and appliance delivery/installation operations. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring logistics expertise, financial acumen, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire home delivery operation, from assigning partner carriers to ensuring final in-home installation of appliances.
  • Own the location’s financial and operational performance—including budget management, performance metrics, SOPs, and employee accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory agencies across transportation and warehouse operations.
  • Drive team culture by fostering collaboration, safety, and high morale across all levels.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align local operations with strategic business goals.
  • Oversee and support carrier performance to ensure KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Monitor the full fulfillment cycle: transportation, receiving, inspections, inventory control, and returns.
  • Develop and implement standard reporting tools to track KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain a strong and reliable delivery and warehouse team.
  • Manage staffing needs, payroll compliance, and team scheduling.
  • Provide daily route oversight and support billing accuracy.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with vendors, clients, and customer households.
  • Lead client contract execution, ensuring all specifications and SLAs are upheld.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate with leadership to implement proactive solutions.

What You’ll Get

We’re proud to provide a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive benefits offering designed to support your well-being, career, and personal life:

  • Generous Paid Time Off – Includes company holidays and a bank of vacation and paid sick time.
  • Performance-Based Short-Term Incentives – Earn rewards tied to role-specific performance goals.
  • Family-Oriented Benefits – Paid parental leave and family support resources.

Join us and help deliver more than just appliances—deliver an experience.
To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your qualifications and interest in the role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing partner delivery teams involved in the delivery and installation of consumer goods, particularly home appliances, is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
  • Proven success managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Deep understanding of last-mile delivery, warehouse operations, and white glove service.
  • Hands-on experience with appliance installation (refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Familiar with delivery routing tools (e.g., DispatchTrack, or similar platforms).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable overseeing 6+ independent or employee-based delivery teams daily.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience managing multi-year service agreements with national retail clients.
  • Background in coordinating big box or high-value item deliveries.
  • Field leadership experience with both employee and contractor-based teams.
