RN Wound Ostomy at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking an experienced WOCN/WCC RN for our wound/ostomy department at WK Bossier. You must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, organized and have exceptional communication skills. Experience with wounds, ostomies, and negative pressure wound therapy is required. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: evaluating Braden risk assessments, assessing wounds, assessing and teaching patients' ostomies, placing NPWT, evaluating patients for treatment and collaborating with MD's and nurses. You will receive a comprehensive hospital orientation and unit-specific orientation where you are provided with 1:1 instruction by a preceptor.

Call is required every 2nd–3rd weekend from Friday at 1600-Monday at 0700. This type of call is typically phone calls.

CPR is required and can be obtained from the WK Innovation Center upon hire.
