Cook/Assistant Cook 11:30am - 8pm at Jefferson Community Health Center – Fairbury, Nebraska

Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking for a part-time employee to work in the Nutrition Services Department as a Cook/ Assistant Cook.

Hours: 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Must be able to work every-other weekend and rotating holidays.

Weekend Shift Differential: $4.00 more per hour

Worked Holiday Pay: Double time for working on holidays.

Short Notice Bonus: If called in short notice (less than 24 hours) - 40% more pay for hours not scheduled.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares high quality foods for patients, residents, tenants, employees and visitors following standardized recipes and using proper safety and sanitation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Minimum age 18 required

* High school diploma or GED

* 2 years cooking experience preferred

* Experience cooking for healthcare facility a plus

* Able to receive written and verbal instructions in English.

* Excellent organizational skills
