About This Position
- Work a minimum of 38 hours per week, max 45 hours per week. 45 hours defined: 30 Barista hours and up to 15 admin hours per week. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, however nights and weekends as business dictates. Ensure consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer service experienceMaintain store appearance, cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, food safety standards, and equipmentInterview, hire, train, and develop staff to demonstrate all company standards in customer experience and operationsProvide ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performanceMaintain accountability in employees using progressive discipline process; partner with District Manager and, when necessary, Human Resources to make termination decisionsDetermine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business need and create work schedules accordinglyImplement a varied schedule to develop employees, meet business needs, and maximize sales potential across all hours of operation.
- Contribute to store profitability by seeking opportunities to increase sales and by managing expensesMaintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metricsEncourage and ensure full team participation in both setting store goals and developing action plans to accomplish goalsEnsure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are performed in an accurate, consistent mannerMaintain final accountability for store operations
- Coach and develop leadership team to drive sales, improve profitability and guest satisfaction

Education/Experience:
- Basic math and financial managementAdequate time management, multi-tasking, and problem solving skillsCan communicate on various platforms using both verbal and written communication stylesComputer skills including the use of google sheets, email, and use of POS Software systemsPrevious management experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred
- Standing on feet for extended periodsRepetitive motion including bending, stooping and reachingLifting up to 50lbsWearing a headsetWorking in a small spaceAbility to climb ladders and step laddersAbility to stand in an upright position without walking more than three consecutive steps occasionally
- Ability to walk more than three consecutive steps for extended periods of timeAbility to hear, see, and speak within a loud environmentAbility to stoop and climb occasionally throughout a dayAbility to work with hands on one- and two-handed activities constantly throughout a dayRequires weekend and holiday availability
