Who You Are:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as a Caregiver. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative and to work towards accomplishing facility goals. Supportive Services involves providing care to multiple clients throughout the day at scheduled times. Job responsibilities vary based on each client's individual needs and may include medication reminders, assistance with showers, laundry, linen changes, and escorting clients to and from appointments or activities.

Requirements:

Our community is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of caregiver. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position. The Caregiver performs various personal care services as outlined on the care plan/service plan as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a patient’s care.

· May provide homemaking services, companion/sitter services, transportation and escort services and related medical activities as Meets safety needs of patients and uses equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)

· There is traveling in this position.

· Follows all privacy policies of the Organization, Infection Control protocols and maintains the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI). Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.

· Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
