Marketing Coordinator in Phoenix, Arizona at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.

POSITION SUMMARY

McCarthy is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a focus on proposal development, to be based out of our Southwest office in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate has a strong project management skillset and demonstrates excellent communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• A strategic individual who can partner with BD, Operations, and Marketing team members to develop best-in-class marketing deliverables, including proposals, presentations, creative and technical writing, award submissions, and more.
• Strong project management skills, including time management, communication, organization, and proactiveness.
• Demonstrates a well-rounded balance of creativity and process-driven skills.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, in-person environment.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead a team through storyboarding and messaging exercises to build a compelling client-focused strategy.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, particularly for proposals and communications efforts.
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and the ability to quickly create custom graphics aligned with the brand.
• Strong facilitation skills with a proven ability to develop marketing deliverables in a live, collaborative environment.
• Understanding and experience using CRM databases (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in a related marketing or communications role.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• A desire to work in the construction industry, collaborate effectively, and play a key role in helping grow the business.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
