Job Description

Mid-Market Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive based in the United States.

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will drive revenue growth by selling innovative SaaS solutions to mid-sized organizations across the US market. You will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing, with a focus on deals ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. Working closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional teams, you will develop strategic account plans and build relationships with senior decision-makers. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an AI-powered financial planning platform serving the wealth management industry. You will join a fast-growing, collaborative environment that values curiosity, coaching, and professional development. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a quota-driven sales professional with a strong record of success in B2B SaaS.

Accountabilities:

As a key contributor to commercial growth, you will manage mid-market sales opportunities, develop a healthy pipeline, and guide prospects through complex purchasing decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Revenue Ownership: Own and exceed an annual recurring revenue (ARR) quota for mid-market accounts, with typical deal sizes ranging from $50,000 to $250,000.

  • Pipeline Generation and Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, targeting coverage of approximately three to four times quota through outbound prospecting, partner referrals, and inbound leads.

  • Sales Forecasting and Qualification: Accurately forecast revenue using MEDDPICC or a comparable qualification framework, with training provided where needed.

  • Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Lead multi-stakeholder sales cycles, typically lasting three to six months, from initial engagement through negotiation and closing.

  • Executive Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with firm owners, principals, and senior leaders to build consensus and advance opportunities.

  • Strategic Account Planning: Create and execute account plans for priority target accounts, identifying opportunities and tailoring the sales approach to client needs.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and close agreements using established pricing and standard commercial terms.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Commercial Business Lead and solutions and legal teams to resolve pricing and contract questions and support successful deal execution.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven SaaS sales professional with a history of achieving ambitious targets and building strong customer relationships. You should be confident engaging senior stakeholders, developing tailored solutions, and adapting to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

  • A degree in business, technology, or a related discipline; financial industry licensing is an advantage.

  • Three to seven years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including experience in a closing role.

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and developing customer champions.

  • Confidence and credibility when engaging senior decision-makers.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.

  • Experience selling into financial services or other regulated markets is preferred.

  • An established network within the financial services industry is an advantage.

  • A coachable, curious mindset and a strong desire to learn and grow.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple opportunities and priorities.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote, work-from-home opportunity for candidates residing in the United States.

  • Inclusive culture with talented and collaborative colleagues.

  • Leadership team with a proven track record of success.

  • Hands-on coaching and a clear path for career development.

  • Opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing business expanding internationally.

  • Competitive compensation and generous benefits; specific salary figures and individual benefit details are not provided in the job description.

  • Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, with accommodations available throughout the recruitment process.
