Electrician Apprentice -Spectra in Roosevelt, Utah at Strata Networks

About the RoleSTRATA Networks is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician Apprentice to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside journeyman and master electricians while supporting reliable electrical operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:

Assist journeyman and master electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects.

Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using appropriate tools and equipment.

Perform general labor duties, including digging trenches and holes for conduit and electrical supports.

Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and applicable electrical codes.

Document completed work and communicate project updates as needed.

Provide on-call support to clients and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues.

Follow industry safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the TeamTo be successful, you’ll need:

A high school diploma or equivalent.

An Electrical Trainee Certification.

Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Work Environment and Conditions

Regular schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Participation in 24/7 on-call rotations as scheduled.

Work at client locations and potentially hazardous job sites.

Work around electrical systems, construction equipment, and other occupational hazards.

Use appropriate PPE and follow all required safety procedures.

Work at heights and in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical Demands

Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds.

Ability to climb and work at elevations using ladders, poles, climbing gaffs, and lift trucks.

Ability to dig, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods.

Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and electrical equipment.
