This is a high-impact enterprise leadership role responsible for shaping the future of manufacturing and supply chain operations within a leading industrial organization. You will define and drive multi-year transformation strategies that modernize production networks, strengthen operational resilience, and enable long-term competitive advantage. Working closely with executive leadership, you will translate strategic vision into actionable initiatives spanning automation, digitalization, footprint optimization, and capital investment planning. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, with significant influence over how manufacturing capabilities evolve across the enterprise. You will also play a key role in evaluating acquisitions and integration opportunities that expand operational scale and efficiency. This is a highly visible position for a strategic thinker passionate about transforming industrial operations at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of a multi-year manufacturing and supply chain transformation strategy aligned with enterprise growth and modernization goals.
  • Define and drive the modernization roadmap across manufacturing operations, including automation, digital systems, advanced analytics, and performance management tools.
  • Evaluate and optimize manufacturing footprint strategy, including make-versus-buy decisions and vertical integration opportunities.
  • Partner with executive leadership and plant operations teams to align capital investments, technology adoption, and workforce capabilities with strategic priorities.
  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives focused on improving agility, scalability, efficiency, safety, and quality across manufacturing operations.
  • Establish governance frameworks and performance tracking systems to measure transformation progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support M&A activities, including operational due diligence, manufacturing capability assessments, and post-acquisition integration planning.
  • Drive integration strategies that unlock synergies across acquired assets, suppliers, and internal operations.
  • Partner with IT and operations teams to define and implement next-generation manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, quality, and supply chain visibility platforms).
  • Champion the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, digital twins, and predictive analytics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing strategy, operations leadership, or enterprise transformation in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience designing and executing multi-site manufacturing or supply chain modernization strategies.
  • Experience supporting or leading M&A activities, including operational due diligence and integration planning.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, digital transformation, and capital investment planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including business case development and investment evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex operational insights into strategic direction.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with practical execution in fast-changing environments.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or electrical/energy sectors is highly valued.
Benefits
  • Competitive executive-level compensation aligned with experience and impact.
  • Remote flexibility within eligible U.S. states, with relocation support available.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plan and long-term financial security benefits.
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional leave programs.
  • Opportunity to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives with significant strategic impact.
  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and large-scale modernization programs.
  • Strong professional growth opportunities in a high-visibility leadership role.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on continuous improvement.
