Job Summary
JNR Adjustment Company is seeking responsible, dynamic individuals to join our Research Analyst Team within the public utility claims division. This role involves expertly navigating online databases and formulating effective correspondence with third-party entities and municipalities. You will be immersed in a culture that encourages teamwork, recognizes individual achievement, and rewards excellence in the field of insurance subrogation.
Responsibilities
- Case Management: Independently manage, organize, and prioritize a diverse load of investigative casework.
- Database Navigation: Efficiently utilize online resources and databases to gather critical claim information.
- B2B Correspondence: Maintain professional verbal and written communication with third parties and municipalities.
- Regulatory Requests: Execute accurate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to obtain public records and reports.
- Technical Analysis: Review and analyze utility outside plant field damage reports to support recovery efforts.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, thorough, and accurate records of all investigative steps taken within case files.
- Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with team members and other internal departments to meet recovery goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or BS preferred.
- Experience: Candidates with backgrounds in utility outside plant, construction, or insurance subrogation are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Communication: Advanced reading and writing comprehension; effective professional communication skills over the phone.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform expedient critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office; must possess a personal PC/laptop and reliable high-speed internet.
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously while working independently.
