This role is designed for an experienced IT support professional seeking a high level of autonomy and technical variety in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a key technical point of contact for clients, ensuring efficient diagnosis and resolution of complex software and infrastructure issues. The position combines hands-on technical support, client interaction, and continuous improvement of support processes. You will work across diverse environments including servers, databases, and network infrastructures while contributing to the stability and performance of client systems. The role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies and real impact on client satisfaction and operational continuity. It is a remote-friendly position, with the option to work from offices located in Rimouski or Québec.
- Analyze incoming support requests, assess urgency and complexity, and resolve issues or escalate them to the appropriate technical teams when needed.
- Provide high-quality software and technical support focused on delivering effective and long-lasting solutions to client issues.
- Perform remote installation, configuration, and maintenance of software solutions in client environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to software applications, systems, and hosted infrastructures.
- Support clients in optimizing their use of software and technology solutions to maximize efficiency and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing support processes, documentation, and internal tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service quality and knowledge sharing across the support organization.
- Diploma in IT support, computer science, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical support or IT technician roles (asset).
- Strong hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting environments such as Windows Server, Windows 10, and Linux.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and internet technologies.
- Working knowledge of database engines such as SQL and Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Interest in integrating artificial intelligence tools into daily technical work.
- Strong communication skills and a client-oriented mindset.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
