Job Description
About us
Level AI (thelevel.ai) is a Series C Enterprise SaaS company, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Mountain View, California. Our vision is to blend human and machine intelligence to transform customer experience.
Our AI-native platform turns contact centers into strategic assets by combining conversation intelligence, real-time agent assistance, analytics, and AI-powered agents to help businesses better understand customer needs, improve service quality, and scale operations.
With AI evolving rapidly, Level AI is constantly pushing its platform forward with new innovations in intelligence, automation, and agentic experiences. This gives interns the opportunity to work on modern AI-native product problems, not just static interfaces.
Role
We are looking for a Product Design Intern to join our design team and contribute to real product experiences at Level AI. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to explore ideas, conduct research, create user flows, design interfaces, and prototype interactions for complex enterprise workflows.
You will also help evolve our design system by partnering with the development team to translate components, patterns, and interaction guidelines into scalable product experiences.
Location: Noida, Hybrid
Type: Internship
Duration: Preferably 6 months
Responsibilities:
Contribute to design work for one Level AI product by supporting user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI explorations.
Turn early product ideas into clear flows, clickable prototypes, and polished visual explorations.
Support the design and development teams in setting up and improving the design system, including components, patterns, documentation, and usage guidelines.
Build product context through competitive research, UX audits, user journey mapping, and workflow analysis.
Participate in design critiques, product discussions, and feedback sessions with designers, PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Iterate on designs based on feedback while maintaining attention to detail and design quality.
What we are looking for:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field, with a graduation date of March 2025 or later.
Strong product design fundamentals, with the ability to translate user problems into clear flows, usable interfaces, and thoughtful interactions.
Proficiency in Figma, including creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and working with components.
An eye for design craftsmanship and attention to details.
A portfolio that demonstrates product thinking, structured problem-solving, design process, and strong execution quality.
Ability to understand product requirements, ask relevant questions, and convert ambiguity into clear design explorations.
Curiosity about AI-native products, automation, enterprise software, and how AI can support users in real workflows.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly and incorporate feedback.
Interest in design systems and understanding how reusable components, patterns, and documentation support scalable product development.
You’ll stand out if you have:
Used AI tools in your design workflow for research, ideation, writing, prototyping, or visual exploration.
Built interactive prototypes beyond static screens using Figma, Framer, v0, Cursor, or similar tools.
Experience contributing to a design system, component library, or reusable UI patterns.
Strong eye for visual craft and interaction detail.
Side projects, case studies, or prototypes that show curiosity and initiative.
How product design works in a fast-moving enterprise SaaS company, and how to understand complex user workflows and translate them into simple, usable product experiences.
How AI-native products are shaped across research, interaction design, prototyping, and execution.
How to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers in day-to-day product development.
How design systems are built, maintained, and used to create consistent product experiences.
How to improve your design craft through critiques, feedback, and real product constraints.
