This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Gerência de Acesso e Contas Estratégicas - Divisão de Produtos Estabelecidos (EPD) based in Brazil.

This leadership role focuses on developing strategic access initiatives and managing key healthcare accounts across public and private healthcare systems.
The position plays a critical role in expanding patient access to innovative treatments by building strong relationships with payers, hospitals, healthcare institutions, and internal teams.
You will lead account strategies, identify growth opportunities, and ensure sustainable value creation across complex healthcare ecosystems.
The role requires a broad understanding of healthcare access models, reimbursement processes, stakeholder engagement, and market dynamics.
You will act as a strategic partner for key accounts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful solutions for patients, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.

Accountabilities:

The Gerência de Acesso e Contas Estratégicas will be responsible for leading strategic account management initiatives, strengthening healthcare access, and driving sustainable business growth through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business priorities, patient needs, and healthcare ecosystem opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare payers, private hospitals, public healthcare institutions, and government healthcare representatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring effective communication, responsiveness, and long-term partnership development.
  • Identify opportunities to expand access to therapies by understanding reimbursement models, healthcare policies, patient journeys, and market trends.
  • Manage account performance indicators, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across medical, commercial, access, marketing, and other enabling functions to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead resource allocation, budget management, and execution monitoring to ensure strategic plans generate measurable results.
  • Utilize CRM systems and digital channels to optimize stakeholder engagement, account visibility, and relationship management.
  • Develop innovative solutions tailored to customer needs while promoting sustainable growth within strategic accounts.
  • Guide and support account teams by sharing best practices, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic healthcare professional with strong leadership capabilities, business acumen, and experience managing complex stakeholder environments within the healthcare ecosystem.

  • Bachelor’s degree completed; postgraduate degree or MBA is desirable.
  • Advanced English proficiency is desirable.
  • Solid experience in project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience managing institutional relationships with healthcare stakeholders, including private healthcare systems, payers, public hospitals, and government health organizations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, access strategies, and healthcare delivery processes.
  • Multidisciplinary knowledge across market access, medical affairs, customer experience, and commercial operations.
  • Ability to analyze complex scenarios involving multiple stakeholders, healthcare pathways, and business variables.
  • Experience leading teams, managing resources, and overseeing budgets.
  • Strong strategic communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and create relevant business discussions.
  • Ability to work effectively in flexible, ambiguous, and fast-changing environments.
  • Strong organizational agility, collaboration skills, and ability to lead through influence.
