Job Description
Provides technical expertise and leadership and ensure all facilities are in compliance with all federal, state, county and city regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct all required safety training programs.
- Conduct routine monitoring required for employee health and environmental issues
- Coordinate and conduct environmental and safety inspections related to regulatory compliance
- Coordinate and implement employee health testing and testing related to any regulatory compliance
- Test, select and maintain PPE inventory
- Maintain reporting and document files for all regulatory compliance
- Implement and coordinate all required health/safety training and records
- Responsible for safety and health programs including ergonomic and safety committees
- Provide technical support for safety and health programs at the company
- Perform any and all other tasks as assigned
Academic Requirements
B.S. degree in environmental or industrial hygiene sciences or related discipline is required.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Must have strong verbal and written skills and possess the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people.
