Job Description
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for Members and their guests, delivering exceptional hospitality while ensuring a seamless and personalized club experience. This position is responsible for greeting Members, managing reservations, coordinating Club activities, assisting with Member requests, and providing administrative support while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and service. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for Members and their guests.
Requirements: Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMember Services- Welcome Members and guests with a warm, professional, and personalized greeting
- Learn and recognize Members by name whenever possible
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to Member requests
- Answer incoming telephone calls and emails in a courteous and timely manner
- Assist Members with reservations for dining, racquet sports, aquatics, and Club events
- Provide information regarding Club amenities, programs, policies, and upcoming events
- Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk and lobby area
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages
- Monitor daily reservations and assist with seating coordination as needed
- Maintain accurate Member contact information within Club management software
- Assist with preparation of Member communications and Club announcements
- Assist with event registration and RSVP management
- Prepare reports and perform general administrative duties as assigned
- Anticipate Member needs before they are requested whenever possible
- Maintain confidentiality regarding Member information and Club business
- Promote Club programs, dining events, and special activities to encourage participation
- Assist during tournaments, holiday events, and special Club functions
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous hospitality, hotel, luxury club, concierge, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Club management software (Clubessential) preferred
- Outstanding hospitality mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Ability to maintain discretion with confidential Member information
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Frequent walking throughout the Clubhouse
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use computers, telephones, and standard office equipment
- Primarily indoors in a professional Clubhouse environment
- Frequent interaction with Members, guests, vendors, and staff
- Schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
This position plays a vital role in shaping the Member experience and serves as an ambassador for the Club, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards and traditions of a premier private country club
